Hi guys. My name is Jacob. Some of you may know me as HotpoitFan from automaticwasher.org. I like vacuum cleaners very much, especially Dyson's. I own:

Electrolux Bagless Cylinder - 2006
Bosch Bagged Cylinder - 1997
Delta Essenntials Handheld - 2011

I also own a copy of James Dyson's autobiography.

Bye

Jacob

Hi Jacob, and welcome! Always nice to see new members. As you know, I'm AquaCycle over on AW.org. Hope you find some useful info on here and enjoy the conversation :).

Currently, I've got:

Sebo Felix Vogue - 2011
Henry Eco - 2010
Electrolux 616 - 1989
Panasonic MCE-44 - 1992
Panasonic MCE-47 - 1996
Goblin Rio 3101 - 1994
Electrolux Microlite 1610 - 1991
Philips T300 Compact - 1991
Philips Vital 369 - 1996 (ish)

I have owned various machines since I started "collecting", although I tend to sell them on after a while as I'm limited with space in my tiny house. Here are some snaps for you :)

1. Philips T300

Jacob, the Hetty box is one of those mini-desk vacs that a friend bought for me a laugh

I'm thinking of getting one. They are at Argos for £9.99. Please look at my new thread.

Even I have one of them desktop Henry vacs, I've yet to get it modified to actually work though... :P

I don't think I paid £9.99 for it though, and it wasn't from Argos, can't remember where I got it actually... :S

Unless it was from Firebox, haven't bought from them in a long time...

I have just bought a working Hetty from a charity shop for £1.49! It works but I think it is missing an attachment.

Could some-one tell me how to modify one of these to make it work?

Thanks

Jacob

Garfoth eh?

I was at Garforth a few weeks ago at the Garforth Arts festival :) I went specifically to see Billy Bragg! Also, be careful when modifying your Desktop Henrys. The motors look like the type to burn out easily if overpowered.
