Hey, Nicholas -
The Hoover is about 16 inches or so tall (I've packed it away again, so I'm guessing). It's one of my very favorite things. When I was clearing out my house 4 years ago (and sold 33 vacuums), it was one of the items I refused to part with. I'm SO glad I kept it. I've not seen very many of them. RJ Vanik has quite a nice toy collection. I know he has the Hoover DeLuxe 63 (the two-tone blue one) and a few others that I've forgotten. The toys are fascinating to me. When I was a kid, Soupy Sales (on his TV show) used to offer a small toy canister vacuum, complete with attachments. The hose was transparent and the machine really worked. I would love to find one. | ||

My fifth Christmas
On my fifth Christmas in Fort Knox, Kentucky, I got a battery operated children's Hoover upright. I loved that thing, but strangely enough, I don't remember how long I had it or where it went. I believe it was red, and I know the bag blew up like the real ones. When I saw Charles-Richard's web site photo I was rocketed back to 1958. Priceless! Thanks for the memory.
