I have Omega that has a non-original bag. It looks boring and I was wondering if there are any Kirby patches that you can sew or iron on? I'm also thinking of getting a full length zipper put on, would I then cut out the inner lining (if it has one)? I hate shakeout bags and it's not original so nothing to lose.

I don't think there are any sew-on or iron-on patches that are addons, all you could do is take one off a damaged bag and attach it somehow on to the replacement bag...

As for adding a long zip, the usual method is to cut out the seam that runs up the back of the bag and then stitch in a long zip, and then cut out the scraper pocket and stitch that zip shut, but personally I'd just extend the scraper pocket cutout ad put a long zip in there, so instead of two zips, you have one at an angle, but it's up to you how you do it... :)

Oh, another one for the patch, print out your own onto an iron-on transfer patch, won't look original but should look okay... :)

And just cos I have very little to do right now, a graphical illustration of my thoughts on the zips:

I think I'd leave the pocket zip just for fun, I could leave a bottle of Odor-ific in there. :)

The bottom of the middle seam actually has a small HOLE in it (no wonder my wife complained about it being "dusty"!) so might as well start there!

Macromedia Flash (I think the last version before Adobe destroyed it)... :)
