Hey!
I bought this vacuum last week and I got it today. It is Globaltek Renaissance and it is about ten years old. It has been in use for an old woman and itīs almost non used. It cost only 37 euros and postage. I was going to make it a youtube video soon.

Wow

Now that is cool. I had no idea the Renaissance was ever branded as anything other than Electrolux. It looks the same in every way.

That's a 220-volt European version of an Electrolux USA/Aerus vac. No connection to Sweden's Electrolux, and yet there is an American designed vac right next door in Finland....cool!!!!!! Wonder how Aerus arranged to produce a 220-volt version of their American vacs for Europe....hmmm......

Was quite curious about this machine, and did some googling. They also have a Guardian, Genesis LXE, and Floor Pro. Very interesting.

Interesting Bob!!!

Just an aside...are you in any way related to a broadcast journalist by the name of Ralph Noseworthy? He was quite famous and visible on the local news at CTV Montreal.....just curious....

Markus

Great to see you posting here - did you know that your Electrolux model 70 was mentioned in the vintage forum.

Please post a link to you new video of this very interesting machine and guys, when checking it out, look at Markus's many other videos of his interesting cleaners, I am particularly interested in his Hoover 862 which, like the very first top fill connies, does not float

Hey Markus:

Great video! You have quite an interesting collection there. I like the looks of that floor nozzle; North American Electrolux never had anything like that.

Brian:

Anything's possible, but so far as I'm aware, I'm not related to Ralph Noseworthy. It is a fairly popular family name around certain parts of NL, though.
