Nice score this evening off of craigslist. These were about a 1/2 hour south of me and the woman had posted an ad saying she had 4 Kirbys in a yard sale there. I informed her I work during the day so attending the rummage sales during the week was a bit hard. She offered to pull them out of the sale and hold them for me. She was not sure what models they were, but when she told me $3 bucks a piece with a box of attachments I really did not care what they were at that point.....
So... here they are! A 560, Classic Omega and a Lengend 2 and Tradition 2. As some may recall, I picked a nice Omega up about two months ago all original except the bag, well, this Omega has the bag, I would have paid $12 for that alone!

Nice vacs! I would pay $12 bucks just for ONE of those! You really lucked out!

PS: What do you mean by Tradition II? Heretage II, I presume?

Erm, Tradition 2? I think you mean HeritageII... :)

And by the looks of things, you have a lot of polishing to do... :D

Great finds! I had a Kirby with that same bag. My friend says it's the original 562 bag he thinks. He has about 140 kirbys in his collection.

I gave him this one because he needed the bag and it wasn't an all original machine. It was free to me.

@vac_whispere & twocvbloke:
I have been doing that ALL NIGHT (calling the heritage 2 a tradition 2). Somebody slap me upside the head!I ought to know better!

Yes, there is plenty of polishing to do, though the Omega will go for parts, and I am not sure when I will get to the HERITAGE 2 and the Legend 2. These are a bit too "new" for me but again for the price I could not pass them up!

LOL. We all do it!

Well, I suppose it's no worse than people calling a Heritage 1 a G6, or a ClassicIII a Classic2, as often happens on ebay... :P

I know... I always think "vacuum civilians" as I call them are stupid for not knowing the name of their own vacuum...

That's alot of metal for a little money.

calling a Heritage a Tradition....

I recently saw a Tradition for sale listed as a Kirby "Meditation."  All those "-tion" words can get mightily confusing. LOL

That's an amazing haul for 12 bucks.  Your collection is growing by leaps and bounds.  I hope your wife is still handling the new hobby well!

haha Neil! She is still pretty supportive of the entire thing, hopefully I will not push it too far!
