Well I see a dual 80 nozzle (late 60's)
Sanitronic VII or Dual 50's power cord (early to mid 60's)
Headlight cover??? Nope, getting closer but mid to late 1950's there...
Bag? Nope.
Anyone see anything that validates the early 1950's claim??? hehehe

Hard to say for sure. The bumper trim and belt lifter may have been replaced with the D 80 trim on the head. The handle and bag are of the 500 series style but the bag has been replaced from original.

A D 80 head would not operate a 50's machine as the safety switches are not the same. 500 series were a single speed and had a single button on the safety switch. you would have to have an "adaptor" on the head to trip the safety switch.

This machine could be a repair job done with whatever parts were on hand. I have seen a few of those.

Wow That's quite a mix up. I would offer $10 aT most for something like that.
