I already had a complete set of tools, dolly and even a spare separator so all I needed was a motor unit. The powernozzle and spare water pan were a nice bonus. |

Finally, this Riccar/Panasonic had a very sheltered existence before reaching the thrift store. Hardly a spec of dust on it anywhere and only one small smudge on the side, easily erased. Literally all it needs is a new belt and package of bags. |

I believe your Rainbow is either a 1979-era D2 (chocolate brown trim color instead of copper) or that of the short-lived stopgap model D2A (essentially just the D2 with the motor assembly of the future D3A). Could you please read what the power nozzle's nameplate (see back view by handle joint) is? I hint it is a model R-1024 type F. Thank you, Ben Edge |

Ben, the power nozzle is model #R1024 E, and the Rainbow itself is model D2. |
