Almost looks like 50s on the stereo, of course if it is stereo and not HI FI it would be 60s I think. Cool stuff.

Nice picture, I love the "Hawaiian Eye" wall covering behind the Marconi. Great Electrolux too!

Elegant!

I'd place it around the late '50s through early '60s before all the plastic wood consoles came in. A friend of mine has a very similar blonde finished Grundig stereo; it no longer works but she keeps it around because it's to pretty in her 1960 home.

the stereo

works, but it has a hum after it is on for a few minites. It valso has a record player.

Someday I'd like to find an old stereo like that (preferably broken electronics insode) and gut it out, and put a modern integrated amp and some nice speakers. With digital music these days don't need to worry about trying to fit a CD player or tape deck or any of that junk. :)

Looking good, just need a nice polished up Kirby model 5xx and you're set. ;)
