Hi Guys.

I rebuilt my US Import Celebrity over the weekend, and thought you may like to see it.

I posted it on another forum, and to be honest the pictures wouldn't view on here as they are all 3mb+ in size.

I have a few Turbopowers to strip and rebuild too, would you mind me putting the links to the rebuild on here as well (in the contemporary forum of course!)

I'd be interested to hear your feedback, after lurking on here for a while there's so much knowledge, and I'm learning so much about US vacs!

Cheers

Sam

Excellent! Thank you!

Sam, thanks for this very detailed description, I will save it and use it as a guideline for my own U.F.O. Hoover.
I have got the S 3005 as well, just in mustard yellow, not orange. And the nozzle is that combination tool (the one with those red flip levers on either side.).

Thanks also for mentioning all the products and tools. This way I can be sure not to do any harm to the machine but to get best results.

The only sad point: You cannot get bags here, they are gone for good. Are they still available in the UK?

Thanks again.
Joe

Hi Joe.

No problems, hope it serves as a useful guide! We can still get bags, but either 'genuine Hoover' bags at near on £9 for 5 inc. postage, or pattern bags from the'bay. I've not seen any NOS bags for ages now.
