Hey guys, are there any twin brushed uprights? Like 2 brushes in one? Thanks!

Yep, the Hoover Windtunnel V2. It was discontinued years ago for I think mechanical problems, but they kept the body and made the Savvy with one brush.

I remember when the V2 came out. I think it was in 2005. I thought it was super cool because you could convert the dust cup to a Type Y bag system. I doubt many of these machines still exist.

I did some reasearch on kenmore dual brush systems, and came up with the LP2. Nice look to it, kind of commercial.

My mom had one V2, until the motor lock up.

The V2 machines came out back when I sold at Sears. I thought it was a great idea, and I also liked the fact that it could be be bagged or bagless. I just wish it had been offered in a self propelled version. I think they had a lot of problems with the brushroll gears breaking.

At the same time Kenmore made a green bagless dual brush machine as well, very stiff staggered bristles.... it didn't do well or last long, but it was nice looking. They had an identical orange version that was a single brushroll version.... a little flimsy. The dual brush version was loud and hard to push. I liked how high the cord wrap was because you didn't have to bend over to wrap it.... the paper pleated bagless system was awful though.

Here's the Kenmore version...

I got this at a vac shop for $35 about 5 years ago. It is a very powerful vacuum, and a really good deep cleaner.

And the bottom-
And concerning the V2, I'm pretty sure those aren't hard to find, but I could be wrong. I am getting one from my mom's friend next week.

Chase, that is one pretty Panasonic! I remember when those came out.... I think people had problems with the hoses catching on things. I can imagine catching it on the corner of the bed frame or something like that. Where is the power switch?

The switch is on the left side of the bag compartment. I have never caught the hoses on anything thought (yet).

They had a problem in the begining with the brush rollers they used plastic for the ends and they melted suprise , duh lol . They did make the replacement brush rollers with metal end caps . You can find then online and most vacuum shops. That will fix the problems that arise because of the plastic end caps.
