One of my finds from yesterday, this LE was in great shape, with several boxes of bags and a box of attachments, though they may be for a different Lux? At any rate, all here and in great shape. $5 bucks. PS- Can anyone tell me what year this may be from? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me what year this may be from?

1988-1989 would be fairly close, give or take a few months.

I'm not sure of the year, but if you didn't know, the box is from the Electrolux Discovery 2 upright, which is from the 80's I believe. Maybe they had one of those as well?

Looks very much like the one Sam's Club sold for about a year, they had the commercial upright at the time too. I think. around 92 maybe?

Vacman 117... I figured that may have been the case. So, I just stopped by the sale again today (1/2 price day) and asked if there were more vacs, specifically another lux, and they stated there was not. But.... they did give me a nice hose from a model L gratas that was found in the basement!!!! YEA!

You found some great Electrolux deals this weekend.  Congratulations!  Except for a bit of a kink near the handle end that hose looks to be in pretty good shape.  Do I see an L in your future?  Keep this up and your Kirbys will start feeling jealous!

Neil, lol actually I already have and L. But I figured for the insanely low price of free I could not pass it up

That's the spirit!

Free; who can turn down a price like that?  You sure are in your stride when it comes to building your collection.  Any chance you might be talked into signing up and attending the convention?  With all the enthusiasm you display in your posts I think you would have a blast and I'm sure everyone (myself at the head of the line) would love to meet you.

Would LOVE to go but I am a gov't worker and cannot get the time off. If I find out the dates for next years convention by the end of this fall, then I can get the time off.

Derek, that is a very nice looking hose, one that would have also come with the Aqua Model G I believe.

Hi All! That Lux's color scheme matches the first Marquise model from around 1987-88. My Mom had the Marquise new around then. The aqua hose could have been from a turquoise Model G or L. Later, Trg

I have this same hose. It goes with my aqua model G. Mine also has the external cord for the power nozzle.
