Okay I discovered they came to the UK in 2010, but I only just noticed!!!

Anyway, they're offering their Sanitaire clones (the 12" and 16" versions) with 870 Watt motors, and that got me thinking if they could be dropped into a True Sanitaire, but of course, I don't fancy spending £200 on something I'm just going to tear apart for spares (they come with ST bags too y'know!! could be handy), so I thought I'd find out if anyone here has had one of these clones and if the parts they use are interchangeable... :)

They claim to use Ametek motors though, so, that could be a start, but I'm asking first, cos I'm lazy... :P

Their UK site is a bit, well, basic, and they're not forthcoming with prices (I based the price I mentioned on the one I've seen on ebay aswell as a UK janitorial supplier online), but it is interesting to see how they describe their vacs... :)

Interesting that they kept the US flag on all of them in Britain. I'm not sure why it's there over here, either, as all of their stuff is made in China! :)

I sold a my Perfect to a hotel a few months ago. It was a good vacuum but decided to sell it as I wanted a true Sanitaire. Black is not my color.

I have successfully installed a new VGII and Dial-a-Nap knob from an older Eureka on the Perfect, so the parts could be interchangeable.

They remind me of those Oreck Sanitaire clones to me. :/ Id rather have a REAL sanitaire.
