I believe these models to be late '70's-mid '80's. There was a series of Guardsman products, and this was the upright. Great looking vacuum! Enjoy! |

I have one just like yours!!Got it from the "over 30 day pile" at a former vacuum place.Works very nicely.Would like to replace the plastic fan with a metal one,though.Metal Hoover fans are hard to find here. |

Beautiful machine! I have the same model, and at one time one of our Hoover enthusiasts dated it 79-80. It's one of my favorite "convertible" type vacuums, something about the red and chrome combo that makes it a real looker! |
