Many 110 Volt versions of UK Hoovers were also sold in North America. There is a cool 110 volt Hoover Electronic now on sale on ebay:

If its a 110v version of the European model, that cleaner was manufactured in France rather than the UK. It pops up every so often as a POD and I had assumed it was also manufuctured in N Canton as well based on the fact that the Spirit was sold in Europe at the Compact.
