Well, they run on 240 Volts at 50 cycles per second, the US "Convertible" is called the Senior, the US "Dial-A-Matic" is called the Convertible, and the Junior was a very popular model series... :)

Also, recently, the modern Constellation was called the Maytag Satellite bacause TTI haven't got the rights to the Hoover name here in the UK & Europe (owned by the Candy group)... :)

That's about all I know... :)

Might be difficult without buying a machine for parts, the parts are obsolete now, so even finding generic parts is pretty tough going unless you have access to someone in the vac business who has access to manufacturers or distributors that supply the said generic parts... :\

Many 110 Volt versions of UK Hoovers were also sold in North America. There is a cool 110 volt Hoover Electronic now on sale on ebay:

If its a 110v version of the European model, that cleaner was manufactured in France rather than the UK. It pops up every so often as a POD and I had assumed it was also manufuctured in N Canton as well based on the fact that the Spirit was sold in Europe at the Compact. The hose and PN on the European versions are different though.
