Last week I visited (AirWayCharlie) and Todd in Charlotte.  Charlie gifted me a wonderful addition to my Hoover Family.  A beautiful and I do mean beautiful mint Hoover model 63!!  I am not sure but I believe that everything on this machine other than the cord is original.  The cord is a beautiful replacement (blue) from I Kirby if I am not wrong.  I just finished vacuuming with this machine.  It just purrs!!!  Thank you so very much Charlie!!

Enjoy

The Model 63 is one of my favorites too. It indeed, has such a pleasant sound. It cleans so well too. It's kind of a fashion-forward looking machine of its time. This one looks choice.

AWESOME...

REALLY AWESOME! We could probably begin a subset of the Club with just those who dearly love the Hoover 63! Actually, I am an huge fan of all 5 incarnations of this model and am lacking only one. What a beautiful machine, Terry, and what a really kind and generous gift, Charlie & Todd. Enjoy!

When I found out that Terry did not have a Hoover 63 I nearly fainted! Everyone should have a least one of that model. I think this is about the 5th one that has come my way and it needed a good, loving home.

After seeing those pictures, I know the 63 has found just such a home. Enjoy! I love the 63 purr.

Charlie

Great machine Terry! It makes such a nice pattern on the carpet. I DO hope you did like I taught you, and backed out of the room so there are no feet prints in the just vacuumed rugs. You can never go into that room again unless of course you have a vacuum with you!

Pretty unit!

Rick

Of course I did exactly as you taught me Rick, we can't have any foot marks messing up the beautiful patterns that the Hoover 63 makes!!!  Thanks everyone for all of the kind comments, and again thank you Charlie!!

Congrats Terry, lovely looking machine, I always liked the logo detailed on the back top of the bag, something for the user to appreciate!!, looks like its doing a grand job grooming as well...

Carpet tracks - I always insist on seeing the carpet placed and checking the way the pile runs before fitting...always brushing or vaccing the pile BACKWARDS & upwards towards the door!!!

I have a Hoover Model 63

but when I got it the motor was bad. So I put a model 62 motor in it. It runs great but it makes a carbon brush noise like the brushes are in backwards. I have changed them around but it still makes the noise is there anything I can do to make the noise stop.. Dan

Congrats, Terry!  That sure is a beautiful 63!  The 63 is my favorite Hoover!  I know you'll love it!

Yay!

Everyone needs at least one 60 series hoover in their collection!

Your example, Terry, is so fine and gorgeous!

My 63 will always have its place in the corner of my room proudly out for the world to see. Its such an absolutely perfect match of colors and lines.
