A video combining two of our greatest loves - vacuums and pets! Please note: the Groom tool is NOT designed for cats. You use it for this purpose at your own risk. |

Great little film clip-even though the Dyson Groom tool isn't designed for cats-the tool sure gets your cats approval!Wonder how well that tool would work for vacumming heads after human haircuts?May be better than the old Sears Shop Vac my Dad used to use. |

So cute! I see it gets a good bit of loose hair too. No way would my furballs ever permit this though. LOL |

Agreed. If I just touch one of my vacuums, my two cats bolt for safety. Although one of them seems to be getting used to it. He'll sit and watch for a little while--then head for the hills. |

A friend of mine has two cats, they both run when you turn the vacuum on. I tried an experiment that some of you may want to try. When I bought my new Miele, I gave my old one to my friend to see if the noise level would make a difference. His one cat just showed up at his house and is very skittish. This cat also kind of adopted me and me him. Anyway, my friend has the Miele Upright that I used to own and the Miele Canister. If he uses the upright they are gone......If he uses the canister the ferrell cat that adopted me will leave but sneak back in and watch. As long as you don't go towards him he is fine. I am very protective of this cat and want my friend to stop using the upright as I have proven to him IttyBit will come back in if he uses the canister. His excuse for not vacuuming is that it scares the cats......and he is an upright person to boot.....

Jack, that is one sweet cat! My little madam would have none of it lol. She doesn't like being brushed at the best of times (bit of a pain as she is long haired) and she can't stand the vacuum! She's ok with Henry and with the Miele - she could probably take one of those in a fight. But if I even MOVE an upright, she's gone!

Not meaning to steal the thread, but this is what I use on my dog. It does not do hardly anything, but I'm sure it feels good for the dog. :-) CLICK HERE TO GO TO seberhusky's LINK |
