Rotho.....

has a ONE QUART water reservoir. I cannot imagine using it for any 'corrective' cleaning like I have done with the Rainbow, especially with a 4 quart basin, but even with a 2qt I have cleaned up some filthy houses, emptying the water every 10 minutes. I have watched the Rotho video, and it would be for houses already immaculately clean. The hair of a Lab or two Persian cats would kill the Rotho.

Rotho vs Rainbow

Josh,

The Rotho is a relatively new cleaner. Have you been able to find any reviews on it?
Has anyone here worked on one? History has shown a lot of vacuums to be in the "What were they thinking category?" The wet pickup capacity of the Rotho is going to be equally as small as its dirt trapping capability. How much are you paying for it? The local dealer here has them priced at $1500.00. I'd rather pay 3000.00 for a Rainbow, I really would, but to each his own. Good luck if you purchase one.

Rotho & Rainbow

Hi. Here in Europe Rotho is called Thomas (TT, Twin TT, T2 etc.). I think it's a good machine but... Rotho has got filters that clogs. Rainbow has got the separator which never clogs. And think about cleaning it. When you have a Rainbow, all you have to do is rinse the basin and clean the separator from time to time. In Rotho you have to rinse the basin, wash out 2 filters, and rinse that plastic thing.

So I think Rainbow is a better choice. ;)
