What is your favorite kirby model that you have or wish to own?
Mine would have to be either my Classic III or my Dual 80
The classic III is much shinier in person it just looks dull because of the lighting

My favorite kirby that I have ever owned would be my current D80 that I "remanufactured"

I would kill for an original 505 or earlier model.

Thanks for the comment on the D80. Its my baby for sure. I have $300 in it so far. Every part new. Machine buffed professionally.

PS

The Tradition is a pretty decently quiet machine. I love the sound they make.

My favorite Kirbys are

jfalberti's profile picture
1. The Tradition. The first model I sold when I sold Kirby.
2. The Sanitronic VII. The last single speed Kirby, and the first Kirby I traded in on a Tradition.
3. The Ultimate G Diamond Edition. Love the gentle switch on the power plant.

Wow, James!  Your collection is incredible!  I know how you feel... They're all just a bit different, and those differences between the models make it worth having an example of each one!  Cool  That's how I feel about my Constellations, anyways.

I've shared before that my favorite Kirby is the Dual 80... I like that type of handle-grip and I like the small nozzle.  I also love the color.  The Legend II is a close second -- also a beautiful cleaner. The light-up Kirby logo on the headlight on the D50 also makes that model a contender.

D-50 for sure. I miss mine. Dave Olsen has it now. I love the sound of that motor winding on....

But, Brandon, that D-80 is GORGEOUS! You did a beautiful job on it. The shine from it hurts my eyes.

And James --  what a great collection. They look so festive, all decorated for the Holidays!

The Dual 50 is so nifty!

The Dual Sanitronic 50 is my fave Kirby ever. The ovals plastered all over the original bag plus the lighted logo and the addition of the Rug Renovator and two speeds also make it my fave vac off all time!
