Hi- I'm searching for brushes for a Lux power nozzle- it's a PN-2. I've also got a PN-4 that I'm hoping to mate up to a Model L someday, and it could use them too.

Anyone know of a source? This is not a desperate situation, just preventive maintenance I'd like to do sometime in the near future.

Clarification:

Looking at the previous post, I see I was unclear. I'm looking for the carbon MOTOR brushes, not a brush roll.

Sorry 'bout that!

Weeelll...

I've got good bearings and armatures, and those new motors are $50-70 each. I'm assuming brushes would be, hmm, perhaps a bit cheaper?

Try checking with the Aerus/Lux branch closest to you. If they aren't helpful, I can look a few places for you.

Will They Do That?

I didn't know that Aerus dealerships would sell internal parts over the counter. Used to be, Electrolux would gladly sell you a new dusting brush or wand or whatever over the counter, but if you tried to buy a switch or a motor, you'd be told, "You'll need to bring the machine in- we have to install the parts ourselves."

That could have been just the dealer I was familiar with, but they were Real Clear about it- we don't sell service parts to end-users.

I will check with Aerus.

I guess it depends on the dealer, check anyway. If they won't sell them to you, I will find someone who will.

Thanks!

I'll check 'em out and see what they say.
