I know you know how to take things apart...

Release the bag spring and take the cover off the back of the front (bag chamber) cover and the small cover on the hose connector. Remove the tube running from the hose connector to the casting under the machine. Remove the casting. I remember you talking about your machine, and the pictures you posted, and how the lever was bent by a previous owner to prevent the bag from ejecting, so I know you have a machine that has no VISABLE adjustment for the automatic control. Clean everything that is inside the casting, rubber parts, springs, tubes, and passages that air needs to pass through. remember the way everything comes apart so you can put it back together in the same way. Remember to clean the inside of the brass nipple on the hose connector in the front cover. Don't oil anything that has to do with the ejector system. Put things back together and see how it works, then let me know if we need to go any further with this. One more thing, there is a black round spring clamp holding the upper valve gasket/valve seat on to the valve body. don't remove this as with the age of the rubber, you will probably destroy this part. Make sure you line up the sled parts with the projections on the casting when you put it back together. Or you might damage this also. Rick
