My dream vac is a green Hoover Decade 80 and I found a beat up one at a thrift store for $20. I ran to go get cash and came back and it was gone. I would love to get a mint condition one. Anyone have any tips or advice to track one down?

Ebay

Try ebay or see if someone here has one they can give to you. If i had one i'd be happy to trade for another vacuum.

Thanks for the tip. I do watch eBay like a hawk but only decade 800 pops up. Ive not heard of anyone on here having the green decade 80 but I've not asked. I'd happily buy a mint one.

Decade 800

Why not get one of those as they are the same machine.

I suppose its the fantastic mint green that draws us to them. I used to have one that was TOL. I cant remember for the life of me what I traded it in for at the vacuum shop. I think work for one of my convertibles. Wish I kept it. It was very quiet.

Mint Condition

Hi, there was a green, mint, unused one in the box on ebay, but it sold. I think if you wait awhile, one will turn up as they have been on there here and there, and green less so, true for the matching Concept 1. If I find one, I'll let you know...Ron
