I think you are referring to the very first version of the cordless Boss Lightweight Upright. I think it is the very first incarnation of what is now called the Superlite. The Superlite is corded, but the first version was a cordless upright. The main body and filtration dirt cup and adjustable handle seem to be the same. I think the brush-roll hood and colours were different (the first ones were black with purple buttons and graphics.)
The writing on the first versions said: "Cordless Upright" Here is the link to the current corded version: CLICK HERE TO GO TO eurekaprince's LINK |

Hi, you got it right, and no it was not corded at all. I would love to find one. It was available about 1990. Ron |

Never have I ever seen or heard about this Eureka in all the years I have focused on their vacs!
The cordless Boss Lite that was labelled as a "Cordless Upright" must have been inspired by this design......and finally I see some names for the industrial designers working at Eureka!!!!!! Would love to find out where they are working now and what other Eurekas they created: Kenneth R. Parker Sr., Sue Pike and Samuel Hohulin |

Look at vacman117's link. The Freedom was a full size upright, red, but battery powered |
