OK.... I just missed out on a black Eureka Excalibur upright that was in mint condition for only 10 dollars because I didn't want to drive two hours.... I need something to get me over it LOL

I saw the ad for this thing on C/L for 10 dollars.... what do you guys think? I like that the power nozzle has a belt view window and that the tools are included.... I don't like the non 360 degree swivel hose, or non-quick release power nozzle (I like newer Eurekas better actually), but what do you guys think? About a year ago, there was a 90s Hoover Futura canister with power nozzle and I missed it so I don't want to miss this if it's good, though I'm not crazy about it, the price is good, and I don't have any good bagged canisters except the Miele... I do want a Kenny Progressive, but I digress :o)

Bobby - the Eureka Rally is basically a "stripped-down" Eureka Express. Very lightweight...power nozzle looks decent (may have a VG II in it, which is good).

The thing I loved about the Rally is that the cord enters the cord reel from the top of the vac!!!! Very easy to guide the cord while standing up and pressing on the cord reel button with your foot!

Let us know what happens!

(Next time I visit Disney World, I'm coming to see you and your vacuum theme park too!!!!!! You should call it "Bobby's Vacuum World and Resort!!!!! BTW Orlando would be a great place for an International Vacuum Cleaner museum......) :-)

Its to bad about the Excalibur but I'd certainly snatch that one. I had a red one someone gave me. It was well used. The wheels wouldn't stay on and the body had a crack where the hose entered. It ended up being a parts Vac. L to liked the fact the cord went in on top. Its more convenient I think.

thanks

I think I'll pass.... After thinking about it, I just don't have the room for something I'm not crazy about, but I don't see them often and thought it might be kinda special...

Brian, just name that date, it would be fun to play vacuums with you :o)
