Hi Guys I'm TheBoss. I just wanted to know possibly the year my Eureka Upright Model 1489A was made. I'm guessing the 80's, but I would like to know the year. Thanks

The 1400 series Eurekas had a long run. I think the 1489 dates to the to the mid 80s. But are lots of people on here who far more about Eurekas than me who can give you better information. What color is it?

That typeface font is probably from 1982 onward. I would date this Eureka in the period from 1985 to 1990, when we began to see the Bravo series take over.

Anyone here with dated department store catalogues? Sears? A shot of this in a catalogue would give us a more defined window.

Enjoy your toy!
