I was just wondering if anybody else saw this on eBay. It's from 1965, which I guess was when the Brush & Beat debuted. If that's true, Oreck beat them to the punch. Has anybody seen a Brush N Beat for sale on eBay? Also, when were they last manufactured? I know later models had a headlight and vinyl outer bag.

I always loved brush & beats, because they looked so much like orecks.

THey also used the same head as the power nozzle on the "Brush N Beat" canister.

I had one of the uprights one time ( the yellow plad one ) but traded it for a MINT all original Convertible 66. The Brush N beat wasn't in good shape but still worked good. It was missing the brushroll and the very top of handle was broken off.

Wheels

Can you tell me does it have wheels at the front please? And can you describe a bit more about the "revolutionary duct system) and what is the brushroll like?. The reason I ask is that it has more than a passing resemblence to our Lux 152/160/170 series, although that was a hard bag cleaner with no headlight.

Many thanks
Al
