Noticed on my simplicty/riccar s38/1800...

i can feel some air coming from the side of the canister, where the rubber bumper guard is, noticeable when the unit is on max speed for suction. I have just changed the pre-filter and the hepa. I can also at times here a light tapping sound, this may be the hepa filter slightly moving. Are there are filters inside of the canister that might have some debris on it? How is the motor connected to the exhaust outlet where the hepa filter sits... tube..chamber..etc? Just curious, i plan on taking it apart in the morning
