Who makes the most powerful unit on the market today? It does need to be vented to the inside of the home and "not outside" so it must have good filtration for the bag and exhaust.
In my opinion it is a mistake to vent to the outside with a central unit in tight homes. What you are doing is creating "negative" pressure inside the home. Which means you're bringing dust and un-filtered air back inside, more than likely from the crawl-space, which is defeating the purpose of keeping the air inside clean and filtered. This is a problem in very tight homes now. I might could run it in conjunction with my home ventilator but balancing might be a problem...
So who makes a nice "giant" sealed hepa system??:)
