i hate to mention the brand but i am trying to clean up my dyson dc21 (family daily driver) and didnt know how to make the bin clear again- its really foggy. any advice would be appreciated

Generally, the bin in any bagless vac will end up foggy, this is caused by the dirt sanding the plastic down, which cannot be avoided...

The polishing techniques shown in the following link (based on removing the oxidation from plastic headlights on cars) may help, but that is a different plastic problem, but all you can do is try I guess... :)
