hey there all

I decided to work on a project that ive been saving away for just the right time...and till I found a major piece ive been hoping for.....the project was....my great grand mother Hoover Elite 5.0.....it was in her small little apt since she bought it at Kmart in 1988...(ironically the same apt thats right down the street from where my mom now lives in valley center Kansas)till great grandma died in 2001 when I plucked it out of her things and saved it.....it was filthy but still in ok shape....but the only trouble was the nice original bag had a huge slash down the center...so ive been waiting for a older Elite bag to finally complete it....and Phillip Muller was nice enough to give one one on my last visit....so I broke it back out and serviced it and washed the new bag and threw it on...and voila! its finished.....hers a pic of it with my Elite 400 witch i found last year in OK with again Phillip in fact.....the Elite 5.0 dates from 4/88, and the 400 dates from 3/88...witch is the exact month and year of my Hoover Innovation...Enjoy!

the other....

the Elite 400....this is obviously more deluxe....headlight, 4 position height adj, two row brush roll, 5.2 amps, and stair cleaning grip.... this was dated 3/88 from the serial number....only a month before the low end 5.0 was dated.....
