The best flipped picture I have is a grand piano in a pretensions Style & Design Decorator magazine. The piano is so prominent in the full page picture it's hard to believe the 'editors' missed it. I suspect it was flipped to better relate to the picture on the facing page, but still!
It peeves me the growing incidents of spelling errors in magazines and newspapers and perhaps the most jarring is mispronunciation of common words unfamiliar to the local talking heads talent on the Provincial local TV stations. It takes the form of putting the accent on the wrong syllable - it happens so fast but your ear knows something is wrong and it shows the newscaster to be ignorant as a rock. Gawd forbid the teleprompter breaks down sand they have to extempoirize - I think the teleprompter guys do this on purpose sometimes just to watch the idiot talent flail live on camera. Dave |

I can just imagine him precariously positioning his laptop to get the pictures. I've tried it myself, but I can't recall if the images were backward or not. |
