I came across this ad on C/L.... I've never heard of a "hand stick" before, but apparently a Dirt Devil Dynamite comes with one.... what in the world is that?

I beleive

 that it is the handle that they are talking about. I think it adjusts, just like in some Euro-Pro mini uprights. Im not sure, because ive never owned or used a DD dynamite.

Well if they get fifty cants for that thing, the buyer will bet the short end of the stick. I have never been that crazy about DD but a year or two ago I was wanting some kind of quick broom type of thing just to go over the kitchen and clean up track ins from the front door. I had to vacuum everyday, especially the kitchen. At that time I was cooking alot, and alwys had to get the vacuum out to at least go over the kitchen, I like to vacuum ofcourse, but I wanted something quick for when I didnt feel like getting out a lux or rainbow or something. Anyway, this was one of Walmarts after thanksgiving specials I think and I thought it looked pretty decent for what I wanted. OMG! This was the loudest thing I think I have ever turned on. I couldnt stand it. On top of that, it had a thick rubber strip accross the bottom I guess to help with barefloors or bet hair or more likely to raise the carpet so you thought it was doing something. Well you couldnt even push it on my carpet because of that strip. I took it back the same night. I have since gotten NIB 3 speed regina electrikbroom. Some of you probably remember it from ebay a while back with a photo of the box open. It is maroon and white with a maroon bag. Yes it is loud so I use it mostly on low speed just on bare floors, but its not as ear drum shattering as that DD thing. Plus how often do you see one NIB. It was pretty cool.
