Hi,

Has anyone ever heard of this particular model of Royal upright vacuum in 1986? The model number is, no kidding, 3.604.

The serial # is I85A001088 (September 1985). Has a 4.5 amp motor.

What I can't be sure of is if the bag currently on it is original.

very interesting

at first glance i would have thought the bag would be navy blue with a red adjust plate, but the bag and the adjust plate are almost the same color...both replacements ???

i would speculate that it is the third series of the 604 line

Yes, Joe, because that model # is all new to me, but that this model dates to 1985. I know the motor design (including the headlight assembly) was also used on these commercial models: 662, 672, 682, 692, 1040, 1060, 7620, 7720, 7820 and 7920, among others.
