Does anyone have one and really like it? The switch on my new Hoover canister broke today, so I plan on returning it and getting a new one. But I don't want to get another one and have that switch break to. So I am considering the Shark Navigator. Not the Lift-Off one though. How well of a deep cleaner is it? How is the suction? Is it worth it? Or should I get another Hoover?

I would get another hoover. I went to sears and took a good look and test at the machine. although durable it seemed pretty chintzy. the filter they claim is a filter is just a thin slab of filter material. which doesnt do much. as far as the suction goes: that is all it is, suction there is very little airflow. personally I would go with another Hoover canister.

Junk

I have a shark Navigator and it is pure junk, I have owned it for about a year and loved it for the first month. After that it started to smell bad every-time I used it. The brush roll is cheap at best, clogging and bogging down every time it went onto anything thicker than a berber. As mentioned above the filter is nothing more than a piece of foam that need to be washed out all the time.
