Model F

I'm sure you will enjoy it John. I just got a model F last week, and I love it. It took me a while to take it apart and clean out the inside. Now I plan on using it as my daily driver. The cord winder on mine was broken so I decided to change it to the halo. I'm not a big fan of the "lampshade action" winders anyway. These are great machines that often get overshadowed by the model G.

I agree, Nicholas,

that the Model F has a certain charm about it. I remember a LOT of them when I was a kid -- funny thing though, I do not remember a single one with the halo instead of the cord winder! In fact, all the ones I remember except one had the earlier "AE" style swing-open cord winder.

The only one I remember with the new donut-style winder was when I went with my dad to one of his friends' house, and their brand-new Model F was stretched out in the living room ....... with the "revolutionary new" POWER NOZZLE! I remember seeing that so very clearly, and was awed at how big the "floor sweeper" was!

I looked and looked and LOOKED for years for a Model F power nozzle -- they are quite scarce, and finally a couple years ago a member of the Club sent me one. I was jumping for joy that day!! Check out the link to my Model F page---
