Actually!! It is NOT formica, that is a 1941 Sellers kitchen table, and the top is porcelian, it is the best thing to knead bread on or roll dough on ive ever seen. | ||

You can be sure if it's Westinghouse... What a cool looking machine. Their vacs always fit in with the vacs of the era, but yet somehow were very distinct. | ||

Beautiful Westinghouse Tank, Hans!
Hope to find one myself someday. But the upright in the brochure that Charles posted looks a lot like mine. I have attachments and caddy with it, just wish I could find an instruction book and a decent brushroll for it. And yes, the gold printing IS on the bag, just a bit faded and hard to see in this picture.

Hans, Congratulations! That Westinghouse is BEAUTIFUL! And like others have said, that table is the perfect way to show it off. My mom used to have one just like it many years ago...wish I kept it when she died, but oh well....
And yes, you will find the other Westinghouse you gave away....as the saying goes, good deeds come back to you in spades, so you are well overdue! Rob | ||
