Its a similar color to mine. I love mine cuz it was my grandmas and a lot of memories attached to it.

That's my favorite design of the later Convertibles. I like the gold color too.

Hi All i no most of you dont like the color of the 707 but i love that color bag it runs so well. I collect mainly Kirbys but love the old Hoovers model 700 and many others. I have the Kirby Dual 80 another green classic. I truely hope Kirby stays MADE IN AMERICA. I see Hoover has some nice units comimg out i just hate all that plastic. Take care Doug

I love that color. I bought one of those at a yard sale across the street from my uncles house when I was 9. It cost me my $3.00 allowance lol. It worked for a week then nothing =(. It turned out to be the switch, so I jumped the switch untill I could find a replacement.
I did like that one alot. It was the first upright I bought with my own money.
Love it Brandon!!!

had that exact same model and boy was she HARD on it. I remember getting angry at her cuz somehow the spring that held the bag up to the handle broke and she never bothered to have it fixed or rig it in some way to keep it up, so she just vacuumed with the bag dragging behind the vacuum and then when done, she wouldn't even wind up the cord, she'd just pick it all up and throw it in the front closet on a huge mound of junk. I remember secretly kind of thinking that my family was better than hers cuz we had a brand new Kirby Heritage that was taken in for regular tune ups :) I know... such a snot ain't I? My mom had a yellow convertible that was traded in on the Heritage and even when it went in for trade, it was still in pristine condition. It was a sort of canary yellow color. Very plain I remember. I liked the Kirby better cuz it had that wonderfully huge ballooning bag on it! That one is a beauty though! I still would like to find a nice convertible for my collection someday!

The Hoover Convertible U4119 was always one of my favorites as was the U4127.

Cory.......

That is the same model we had growing up as well. That is until it burst into flames.....ah, I had nothing to do with it. Yes........we'll go with that!

Our bag busted too. But it was the platic piece on the top of the inside of the bag that the spring hooked to. So, our bag never hung straight across the top, but lopsided.

I'd love to have another again. I promise not to destroy it this time.
