I recently have gotten an Dirt Devil handvac w. tools. Unfortunately the belt is somewhat slack and there is only one used paper bag in it.
As parts for this one are filthy expensive over here (say 15,- to 25,- € for a 10 pack of bags and 17,- € for a pair of belts) I am asking our British fellows if you know a good place to buy them. (Ok, I will never mention the war *gg*)
Seriously: The prices over here are a plain joke. Can you help, please?
I'd like to assemble all the parts as a Christmas present to good friends, so please be quick (sorry for the short notice, I just got the missing tools yesterday).
Thanks so much
Joe

Well if its about the same as the original American model, you can get some cheap bags and belts over here. I got some at Ace for about $2 each for bags and belts.

good stuff!

Who is Ace? Will they ship to here?
2 bucks seems more than a bargain to me!
What is their freight fee?
Thanks again
Joe

Well it's $4, but, Ace is a hardware store here in the US. I have no idea if they will ship to Germany, but here is a link.

thanks!

Thank you Nathaniel, this is indeed a good place to shop. And those bags are exactly the ones. Too bad they won't ship overseas. But I appreciate your help ;-)))

Hi Joe, You could try ebay.co.uk.

I'm sure the postage would be cheapper from the UK than from the USA.
