My mom had one like that, looked identical, it was a dark red though. My grandmother bought it for her sometime in the early 90's.

Another one of my favorites. I think that was the last of the BOL series,Kenmore 'Premier". I think that one came out early 1997 for Sears CA. I remember seeing it sales book when I worked for Sears, though we in the US didnt get that color.Or at least not In our store.
We had the Red w/Power mate, a lighter blue w/ the Sears deluxe Carpet nozzle IIRC and a blue/green aqua color with straight suction. The floor nozzle on that Straight suction model was really nice. It was a Panasonic combo rug/Floor nazzle with one flip switch on each side.
I remember wanting one in/around 2003/4 ish but they were only sold in CA.

i have used the aqua color version of that vacuum but the canister body was like the one in the first pic and the canister had the hose, wands, and power nozzle in the second pic.I think the aqua colored vacuum i used was from the early 90's.

They had one of each in Aqua. And you are right. The aqua did also have a PM version. That color went from around 94/95 through the mid/end of 1998/99. I am wrong about this sires with the switch in the middle having the aqua color. It was the one in the 2nd pic that I had 2 of both PN versions one (Kenmore) had the cord winder that you tug to retract. The other was a Panasonic and had the push button cord retractor exactly as above. I also bought a friend the Kenmore version in 99 in Aqua and it had the push button retractor and 4 wheels on the PN as opposed to just the 2 for the hight ajuster. I also in 99 bought the aqua straight suction Kenmore in aqua but I took it back because the nozzle didnt get the dog hair off one of my rugs.

The one in the 1st pic with the switch in the middle also sold here through those years in various colors/ PN versions.
I think the one at the top was thier BOL versions then the next(pic2) being the Premier/ MOL, then finaly the TOL/ Whispertone class.
Kinda hard to explain in type, and Im tired, getting close to bed time for me lol.
