Pete...great looking "denim" Convertible...thanks for the pic! Can you imagine driving your AMC Gremlin with that appearance package?

It always looked nekkid without that little decal in there..I think the camera flash made it look distorted, it's really not. Yikes look at that grout brrrr.. LOL Maybe it's time I fired up the Electrolux polisher

The Denim Convertible was my first Hoover in my collection. It's very cool. Mine says it was made in Canada, don't know if any of this type were ever made in North Canton. It has a metal base and a somewhat more powerful motor than older Convertibles. The high speed is energized by raising the handle to the upright position, another interesting difference. I don't know if I still have them, I imagine I do, but it had Eureka-style front conversion attachments.
