I got a GE canister on monday, my dad rescued it from the dumpster at his work, and after being un clogged and freeing up the power nozzle brushroll, it works great. HOWEVER... the bag was partially filled and smells bad. SO... I tried to dump the smelly dirt out, then poured some baking soda in, and put in a dryer sheet. No more smell! So I went to clean at our church, and used it for about 10 minutes and the bag blew, blowing dust everywhere, so I finished with my Hoover fusion, which also emits more dust than it picks up. So my question is, does anybody know where I can get some bags that will fit it? I ended up checking EVERY store in town that carries any vacuum bags at all, and didnt find any that were even close. The bag says cn-1 on it, and the closest I could find was Eureka cn-4 which were not even close to fitting. I am guessing the vacuum was made by Eureka, because the power nozzle has a eureka brushroll in it. THANK YOU!!!

Found it...........

They still have that at one of our 3000 Wal-Mart's here in the West Chicago Suburbs.

Click on the link below and it should pull up the closest location to you, or on-line ordering information.

Sears comes up by me. I'm sure you have one near you as well.

Good luck! =0)

Hey there Dustin....

You can order the correct bags directly from Eureka - the vac is a Eureka canister made by one of Electrolux's European companies (I think Volta).

The Eureka version of the GE vac is model 6850.

Anyhow.....click on the link below for the correct Eureka CN-1 bags directly from Eureka.

If you need to replace any part of the vac, this supplier seems to have everything from bags to body parts for Model 6850!
