I have NO IDEA about these things. It came out of my step-dad's "Junk-Room" and has been sitting since the 1970s at least. The attatchments are still there in the box, but they are buried in that room somewhere. How old is this? Is it worth anything? I've seen similar ones sell for about $50-$150 if they have all their stuff. Where these prone to any sort of mechanical failure or issues?

It was dragged back to my mom's house a few weeks ago as a rather unwelcome guest and now resides in the chilly attic. I have taken it completely apart and cleaned it out good, it runs ok as far as I can tell.

well I would say it's early 70's. likes like a straight suction model.
