After saying NO MORE VACS how could I not take this pretty thing home with me. This one was in waaaay too nice a condition to leave at the Restore. Barely a scuff or scratch, not stinky either. And it's the TWO speed model..

Not bad for $20... works well too. I've had numerous of these in different colors since gifted away but not this brown one.

Can't put my fingers on my old Sears catalogs at the moment to see what year this one was being sold. It probably matched the brown and beige canister. I think the greens came first followed by the blues, then the browns.

Found an 81 catalog and the brown ones were being sold at that time.. in the 76 catalog the blue canisters were being sold unfortunately the pics of the uprights weren't in color. So it is from the late 70's early 80's

It's got everything going for it. Gaudy flower bag, wood grain accent all on a brown background.

Cool find indeed.
