I DO NOT collect vacuums. I really don't.

Okay, so I popped in to my local Sally Ann today and this little pup called to me.

But I don't collect vacuums. I think I'll play with it for a while then take it in to use at work.

I was surprised to see a 1984 copyright on the instruction sheet. From the pictures I'd have said '70s. But be that as it may.

It came in its original box with all the accessories, including the wall-mount bracket. Even has a couple of extra bags and filters.

I didn't take the $19.95 price tag off because I'm lazy. And luckily, the gal at the register let me have it for half off, so it was only a 10 buck investment.

But enough of that. Let's go to the pictures.

We used to have one of those at the workplace I am working at-was under the Dayton-Grainger name.I tried to use it to vacuum out a transmitter-unknown to me someone who used it before didn't put a bag in it-the first fluffball I picked up out of a transmitter blew the poor thing up!now anytime I use a vac here-check it to be sure a bag is in it!It was a nice little vacuum. It was light and small enough you could use it to vacuum the upper compartments of some transmitters out here easily-you had to climb a ladder to reach those areas.

SHOP VAC

I bought one of these machines when I was in middle school, from my paper route money. I thought it was so cool, when u turn it on it would kinda jump the motor was more powerful then u think.

hey ! The basic shape of this cleaner is just like our UK Goblin Rio which went on sale in the early 1980's. I recall that Shop-Vac was once part of Goblin, although i was lead to belive it was the Australian side of the company. Maybe i was misinformed. How old is this cleaner?
