IT is certainly something to behold. I have never seen one. Must be a commercial vac powerhead. It's nice they didn't try to clip you for more. |

looks like a Eureka Sanitaire product to me if you do not want it I could use it but other than that it might be made by eureka. |

Yes Kyle, "IT" is quite a find.

Someone else here has one of those, can't remember who though. It's quite an interesting and fun concept though not as practical as a regular upright. You should try and get the matching Airway to go with it and you'll have something quite neat. |

Actually They Are Pretty Rare
These power nozzles were commissioned independently of the AirWay Company by Don Clark, then the largest AirWay (I believe) distributor who operated out of Milwaukee. This was in response to the demand for a power nozzle and the competition which AirWay wasn't responding to. They are indeed, Eurekas. AirWay was none too happy about Don's ingeninuity and he tells the story of how he almost lost his distributorship because of this. He kept it, however, and the rest is history. Shortly thereafter, AirWay introduced its own power nozzle which can be seen on another thread here. |

Well Kyle, "rare" is a relative term. No, the Don Clark power nozzle is not as rare as a Hoover Model O, or the original Whirlwind, but it's rarer than a lot of other things you may run across. I have only ever seen one "in real life," and only know of a couple of people who have them.

The Design
Really wasn't that good. The Eureka is large and bulky and it retained its own fan. I am not sure of the physics of the whole thing, but the combination of the suction of the machine and the blowing of the Eureka caused problems. |

Kept the fan? That's interesting I would have thought it only kept the beater bar |

The "It" may be interesting to try with various canister vacs-a "tandem air canister"the fan in the Eureka head and of course the main one in the canister!also wonder if the air flowing thru the fan could spin the brushroll without connecting the "its" motor?Sounds like a fascinating device to experiment with-for a buck a super buy.when you wish-bet you could take the canister wand tube off it and fit on a usual Eureka bag and handle-and you then have a Eureka upright. |

I guess it's a pre made monster vac. |
