Are the sucktion only Eureka's from the 20's any good?Here's a picture af the vacuum.

They were not bad for the time...

For the time when these came out they were a nice machine for vacuuming what the woman needed in the home to clean with. Those models also I believe came with attacments which I have that go with my machine. On this particular one you have the bag was replacement. The original would be black with possible gold lettering Eureka. These look really great after buffing. Does it run?

For what I've heard...

From what I heard it runs.I just bought it off of Ebay last week and it hasn't come in yet but the seller said it runs.

It came!

It just arrived in the mail yesterday and I took a look at it and boy there was so much dirt in the motor to fill the bag up to the top.I cleaned a little of it out before I turned it on and he was right it still works.I never used it on my floors yet but I'm sure it still picks up.
