Hey every one, I was wondering when the concept started.Was the first a pwr drive? Also when did the concept two start?

Hoover concept
The first concept was introduced in 1978 and yes I think it had a powerdrive....the concept two was introduced in 1983. Here is a picture of the concept and concept two....along with a Hoover celebrity. ![]() |

Concept One
There were 4 Concept One models intro'ed in '78, two power drive and two standard.

My mom had one that looked like the blue one, but it did not have the fleur de lis decoration on the front case. I think it was a display model, it had scuffed stickers on its base, but it was a wonderful vacuum. |

model U3105 came out in 1982, thats the power drive cord reel model. |
