Looking good Michael!! Did you wash the bag, it looks brighter. That new floor looks great too!!

thank you Terry. Yes, I did wash it....by hand.

I can't wait to come and see you!!!!

Michael, how about a pic of it running! There's just something about the bag being inflated and the light on!

Post# 27328-12/16/2007-23:13 ||| petek (Sarnia)

It looks great and so does the new floor. I just bet each time you walk down there now it's a whole better feeling. My dad used to say that just fixing up the floor alone in a basement makes a whole world of difference even if you don't do anything else and it's true.

i was going to do that vac-o-matic, but the bulb is burned out. i could take one with the bag inflated but it just isn't the same without the light....you are right!

thats a good looking vacuum!

ya know, there was a time i didnt like the 28. it grew on me.

the power of these machines is amazing. only 300 watts, but they clean very very well.

petek......your dad is 100% correct!!!! it is a completely different look and feeling!!! i'm so glad that freezer is finally gone too......it was on the curb as of friday night and when i came home today from jeff's house it was gone.

swingette.......the 28 grew on me too. i like it now. and they do clean pretty well.

Excellent Job Michael!

That's one fine looking 28. And the original bag makes it even better. Wish I could find one for mine, but in the meantime, the replacement I have is pretty close. The 28 has always been one of my favorite Hoovers.

Nice work, again! My grandmother had a 28 that was relegated to the basement with my aunt gave her a 62 she had replaced with a BOL Eureka. I always thought the 28 was a fantastic cleaner and I loved the brown bag. I've found a couple of them at estate sales, but only one with the original bag...congrats on this rare find, guys!
