So what is on everybodies christmas list. I already got an Ipod. After Christmas were getting a Miele Capricorn.

Well I don't have a Christmas wish list but I suppose if I was to wake up Christmas morning and find a 1975 Buick Electra 225 two door coupe sitting in the driveway I'd be shocked and then out the door so fast and into it driving away I wouldn't know what to think or where it came from.

I would like a Magnavox Color television stereo theatre from the 1960s. I found one on eBay 30 miles from here, and I could still contact them, but I think it could be too late. I don't have a way to move it. So your family is getting a Miele Capricorn. There are a lot of Meile fans here. I would like to find locally, a Hoover Constellation of any kind, with tools.

Pete, if I found ANY good '75 Electra 225, I'd poo myself, then clean up and race out to lock myself in. If I found a 1959 Electra 225 six window Riviera four door hardtop in any color, I'd die on the spot.

Amen

gotta love those big boat Electras could kick myself to hell and back for selling my 68 225 or my 66 Wildcat

I like any big Buick for that matter. I loved my Uncle Dutchie and Aunt Nell's '65 Le Sabre sedan, dark green with black interior and black vinyl top. They turned a nice '58 Special four door sedan in for it. They lived in Spruce Pine, NC.

And I want a GE floorwasher to go with my Swivel Top.

My wish List

I would wish for a Hoover Model 61,62 and a 5,000 watt Blue Ice Amplifier for me to DJ with. also My neighbor has a Buick Electra but he does not want to sell it. actually I think he has two in mint condition and all original. he is kind of the car collector.

Pete asked for a '75, I'd like a '76

This one please... don't worry about fitting it under the tree. just park it out front and leave the keys under the tree

Isn't it gorgeous. I couldn't see that it had the top fender mounted turn signal/high beam indicators on either side and it doesn't have the ceiling mounted (over the middle back seat position) tail light/turn signal indicators. You viewed them thru your rear view mirror. Wonder if those were dropped for 76 or an optional extra.
BUT regardless I'd still take it as well. I think the 225 was much nicer looking than the same years C'devilles and the 98's.

turn/headlight indicators

Pete the '76 that I had way back when had those indicators, as well as the trip odometer and speed warning thing.
This one here is just gorgeous!

There was also that fuel usage gauge as well that would zoom up into the red zone whenever you goosed it. Oh I just loved that car. I really ought to get another one oughten I for Sunday drives etc. (got to use the word ought and oughten LOL). I drove mine to Seattle and Portland quite often and also down to SF. The only thing, it was horrible trying to do 55 mph, felt like you could get out and walk faster.

I asked for a New Miele with a Seb-236 AND SEB-217-2. I know i am getting it becuase i ordered it!

While we're on the subject of Buicks, I would absolutely die to find a 1971-73 boattail Buick Riviera under the tree, or maybe the rare 1979 LeSabre Palm Beach edition. Course, the holy grail for me would be a red and white 1958 Plymouth Belvedere. In the way of vacuums, I would wish for a Hoover Citation model 64, or a real early Ohio with the pull-chain switch.

Post# 27284-12/16/2007-12:58 ||| petek (Sarnia)

Well I wouldn't complain to find a boattail Riviera either, nothing else like them. Another one that always appealed to me were those big 70's Mercury Marauder x100

Post# 27291-12/16/2007-14:52 ||| arh1953 (south florida)

I love a big Mercury. I would love any nice Colony Park wagon, or any Mercury Park Lane. What a beautiful barge there, Pete! Someone within two miles of here has a mint green one of these. Ohio_Tuec, I know a scale model won't cut it for you, but a company that makes 1:18 scale cars makes a boattail Riviera, in a couple of different colors. I have a ton of scale model cars now, but I'm still sick over having gotten rid of a box of models in 1975. Here is a '60 Park Lane in 1:24 scale.
