Hello everyone, my mom (Sonya) asked me to ask you all where she can find a special kind of dinner fork. They have only three points or prongs not four. It is a dinner fork not salad fork. Any info please let me know thanks.

Hello Phillip,

I have such a fork, and it came with my silverware set. It was part of what they called the hostess set.

Maybe I will look on ebay. I would love to find them. My mom has wanted them for years. We have one fork like this, God knows where it came from, prob. 50 years old.

Hi,

I goofed, the fork I have is very large. Used more to serve sliced meat off a platter. As far as the fork you are looking for, I don't believe I have ever seen one. I would probably scour the local thrift stores, often they have bins of loose cutlery. I will look as well, if I happen upon one, I will pick it up and mail it to you.

Phillip

I would be helpful to know what pattern she is looking for and if it is a stainless, silver plate or a sterling pattern. Start out by going on Google and typing in 3 tine dinner fork. Many patterns will come up. Good luck. I have a soft place in my heart for fancy dinnerware and silver. Here is one of my Thanksgiving settings.

Phillip,

Try this web-site: http://www.replacements.com/

They have replacements, I have not been out there in a while so I can not remember how the site works...but I think they have pictures...so perhaps you can match it up.
