Random I know, but I think Alan will like the Retro-future style, as will Mark :P

Ian,

Hey, thanks for sharing that clip. As you know, Blade Runner is my all time favorite (one of these days I will share my top ten, might surprise you - maybe not). Anyway, this clip is a good reminder for me to add this movie to my permanent collection. As a hopelessly heterosexual male and a lover of Blade Runner, Fifth Element is a good flick to revisit.

"you've_just_had_an_accident" "I KNOW YA DAFTY BAS*ARD...LOOK OUT" *slams horn*

Love it, fave characters Zorg but Korben Dallas is a close second, love his apartment :P

Cable television finally was installed in our neighborhood about the time Star Wars and Blade Runner were aired in a seemingly continuous loop on HBO. I must have watched each of them one billion times - and still watch in awe even today.

The Fifth Element was a very entertaining movie - I love a good sci-fi thriller as much as any 'ol straight guy!

I thought Blade Runner was a great movie, got the full home theatre treatment with that one, and I think I'll see about renting a copy of Fifth Element. Hate to say it, but I thought the redhead was a guy for about a minute.

And for a random tie in, Brion James plays a -fairly- major role in The Fifth Element, he's some Officer come to "re enlist" Korben for this mission, lol.
